Established in 1989,
Wilson Property Management, Inc. (WPM) is a full service management
company, offering both homeowner association and rental
management. Judy Wilson started the company with the philosophy
of leasing, management, and sales with a personal touch.
Judy Wilson retired in 2002 and left the business to her daughter Beth
Black, and son-in-law, Jeb Black to continue her philosophy.
Wilson Property
Management currently manages 16 associations, approximately 1000
individual rental units, and currently has four on site
offices. Through various staff members, the company is a member
of the National Board of Realtors, the Property Management Division of
the National Board of Realtors, Raleigh/Wake County Board of Realtors,
and the Property Management division of the Raleigh/Wake County board
of Realtors, Community Association Institute, National Board of
Certification for Community Association Managers and the National
Apartment Association.
WPM strongly encourages
and supports continuing education for all employees, both as
requirements to maintain licenses/designations and gain knowledge in
the ever-changing field of property management. The software
program utilized by WPM is Yardi, which is designed for association
and rental management. Bonded by Nationwide Insurance, WPM
carries both liability and workmen's compensation insurance.
Our main office is
located at Avery Close Condominiums on Avent Ferry Road, which is
within walking distance to North Carolina State University. We
also have an office at Westgrove Towers, near the corner of Western
Blvd and Blue Ridge Road, an office at Lake Park located at
1410-101 Collegiate Circle, and an office at Avera Place located at
11200 Salem Glen Lane in Briar Creek.
Please meet our staff:
Beth W. Black, President
Beth attended NCSU for
business management and accounting while working full time under Judy
Wilson's leadership. She holds a North Carolina Brokers license
and has been in property management for 16 years. She is
responsible for the financial accounting for WPM, and for each
association and rental management. She is also an association
property manager as well as does rentals. She has seen the
ever-changing real estate market over the years and will continue the
personal touch that she learned under Judy's tutelage.
Jeb Black, Vice President/Secretary
Jeb holds a North
Carolina Real Estate Brokers license and is the broker in
charge. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a
degree in Business Management, Jeb has been with WPM for 10
years. As a Certified Manager of Community Associations, he is
the senior property manager for all the homeowner associations.
He contracts for the completion of maintenance work orders, soliciting
and analyzing bids, and attends board meetings. Jeb's experience
and unique abilities have helped achieve the wonderful growth WPM has experienced.
Traci Dixon, Property
Manager
Traci attended Barton
College and Durham Tech. Traci holds a North Carolina Real
Estate Broker license and has 12 years property management
experience. Traci manages the Westgrove Tower office and
Westgrove Tower Homeowners Association. As office manager she
is responsible for all tenant/owner relations, scheduling of vacancy
turn-over work, security deposit refunds, scheduling of subcontractors
and approval of applications.
Joe Stewart, Maintenance
supervisor, Property Manager
Joe has been in
maintenance and construction for 21 years and has been with WPM for 8 years. Joe attended Central Piedmont Community College for
Civil Engineering and this knowledge has been an asset to the rental
and association maintenance. He supervises our maintenance
technicians, carpenters, and subcontractors, and solicits and analyzes
bids for rental properties and associations. Joe served his
country 12 years in the Army and has proven indispensable to WPM.
Pat Caufman, Leasing
Consultant
Pat is our leasing
consultant and has worked with WPM for the last 5 years. She has
been in the rental business for the last 20 years. Her knowledge
of cleaning and carpets has been unique to have on staff. She is
responsible for processing rental applications, inspecting rental
properties and helping prospective residents find the perfect place to
live.
Wynell Miller,
Bookkeeper
Wynell has 6 years
assistant property manager experience and has now become our
bookkeeper. Wynell handles accounts receivable and payables for
the homeowner associations and accounts payables for our rental
accounts. Wynell's amicable personality and diligence are a
great benefit to our company.
Natalie May,
Rental Property Manager
Natalie comes to us from
the Outer Banks and has 3 years experience in Property
Management. Natalie holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker
License and is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro. Natalie's responsibilities include collecting rents,
eviction proceedings, move in/move out inspections and lease
signings. She is also responsible for all tenant/owner relations
under rental management. She gives security deposit refunds and
approves applications. Her ability to multi-task and her organizational
skills make her a tremendous asset to our company, and we are glad to
have her on our team.
Angela Morgan,
Property Manager
Angela comes to WPM with
7 years association and rental property management experience.
Angela holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker License, a Certified
Apartment Manager Certification, and is a graduate from East Carolina
University. Angela is responsible for our Lake Park
office. With her knowledge and organizational skills, she is a
plus to our portfolio.
Colleen Cox, Rental
Property Manager
Colleen Cox joins Wilson Property
Management team with over 10 years experience in the property
management and residential sales, including serving as the Regional
Mulit-Site Director of Communities in the Raleigh area .
She holds a North Carolina Brokers License, Certified
Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation, National apartment
Leasing Professional (NALP) and is a Commercial Property
Management (CPM) candidate. Colleen is also a Counselor on
the 2008 Executive Board of Directors for the Institute of Real
Estate Management (IREM). Her extensive background as a
Business Development Manager and Marketing Director are great assets
to our team. Colleen resides in the Raleigh are
with her daughter, Mary Elizabeth. She is an active
member in her community and church. Colleen is our Rental
Property Manager at Avera Place

Kristi
Woerner, Rental
Property Manager
Kristi
is the newest member of the Wilson team. She
has over 8 years property
management experience. She has an associates degree in Business
Administration and her North Carolina Real License. She is
responsible for scheduling all vacancy turn-over related work,
resident retention, advertisement of available properties, and
schedules all the subcontractors for the rental properties. Her
prior experience is an a great addition to our company.
