The following are items which will result in charges being deducted from your security deposit if not taken care of before you vacate. The deposit is refunded to the person(s) who paid the funds to WPM within 30 days of your lease expiration date, provided a forwarding address has been provided to WPM! If there are any deductions taken from the security deposit, an itemized list will be included.
Please note that this is not an all inclusive list
√ Remove all trash, clothing and personal items
√ Haul away from property all trash, debris and unwanted items, DO NOT LEAVE or place large items beside dumpsters.
√ All trash should fit inside the dumpster or can and be secured in a trash bag.
√ If you have individual trashcans at your home or unit they must be pulled to the street on trash pick up day and then placed back. Items outside of the trashcan will not be picked up and if left a hauling fee will apply.
√ Clean all appliances, inside and out
√ Clean all cabinets, inside and out
√ Clean all sinks, countertops, vanities and mirrors
√ Clean and sanitize shower stalls, tubs and shower doors
√ Clean and sanitize all toilets
√ Vacuum all floors and baseboards and mop all non-carpet floors
√ Clean walls
√ Clean all window sills and wipe down blinds
√ Ensure all light bulbs are in working order
√ If applicable, reassemble and return all furniture to original positions
√ If applicable, clean fireplace
√ If applicable, mow grass
√ Per your lease agreement, you are required to have the carpets cleaned
√ If you are in a pet-friendly property you are responsible for having the property professionally exterminated for fleas and ticks and provide a receipt to WPM at move out.
Reminders
√ DO NOT turn off refrigerator or breakers.
√ Turn in a forwarding address to WPM and the Post Office.
√ Schedule for all utilities to be taken out of your name on your lease ending date, NOT BEFORE, regardless of if you have already vacated the premises!
√ Turn in all keys and parking passes to WPM on or before your lease ending date.
